Multimedia refers to the use of various types of media, such as text, graphics, audio, video, and animation, to present information or entertain an audience. The term "multimedia" is often used to describe a combination of different media types that are delivered through electronic devices such as computers, tablets, smartphones, and other digital media players. They are commonly used in classrooms to enhance learning and engagement (Deuze, 2004).
BandLab is a multimedia used in education in order to increase learning and engagement. BandLab is a digital audio workstation (DAW) that is commonly used for creating and producing music, but it can also be used for multimedia projects that involve sound or music.
One of the main features of BandLab is its ability to record and mix audio tracks, which can be used to create sound effects, voiceovers, and music for multimedia projects. Users can import audio files into BandLab and edit them using a variety of tools (Fick, 2021). This allows children to engage with a range of medias to create music which can then be shared with their peers. It increases their engagement in class and their overall, success.

ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI. It is an artificial intelligence program that can understand natural language and generate human-like responses to text-based conversations. It has been trained on a massive amount of text data from the internet, allowing it to understand and respond to a diverse range of subjects. Specifically, ChatGTP can be used by students in English class to create poems which they would later present (Billingsley et al., 2023b). Below is an example of a poem generated by ChatGTP for stage 1 students:

Students should utilise multimedia to create an English presentation by incorporating chatGTP AI with Prime Voice AI. Prime Voice AI is a software platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) to provide audio. When students place their generated poem into Prime voice AI it recites the poem to the audience. This can help children with learning needs, specifically, anxiety, as it reads the poem to the class for them rather than having them stand up infront of the class and read the poem.

How does multimedia in education support students with learning needs?
Visual aids: Multimedia can include visual aids such as images, videos, and animations which can be helpful for students who have difficulty processing written or spoken language.
Audio support: Multimedia can also include audio support such as recordings of lectures, discussions, and other learning materials. This is helpful for students who have difficulty with reading or processing written text.
Personalisation: Multimedia can be customised to meet the specific needs of individual learners. For example, text size and colour can be adjusted for students with visual impairments, and audio support can be provided for students who have difficulty with reading (Sung & Chen, 2019).
Limitations
Overall, multimedia can provide multiple ways for students with learning needs to access and engage with educational content, making learning more accessible, engaging, and effective. However, limitations of multimedia include, complexity for younger students. Students may be unable to utilise various medias at one time and blend them together especially, if they are unfamiliar with the tools. This can be overcome by guiding students through step-by-step process on how to use these tools and allowing them to practice using these tools

Love the outline multimedia and its importance of how it can be incorporated and how it does help support students learning. Within the examples of both bandlab in creating and understanding the construction of music and Chat GPT and its AI use in order to provide support for students in learning, specifically within english as it can be used to help teach the poetry writing style in older age groups. One thing I wish you had included which could've been a missed opportunity is showing what could happen when you combine both chat GPT to create the lyrics and voice over for a song and then creating music using bandlab as I believe this would be a great way to…
